Product Description: This radiator is used as special cooling device, widely used in HV and UHV power transformer.

1. Oil-immersed Transformer radiator raw material: SPCC, or 304 Stainless steel, 316 Stainless steel
2. Oil-immersed Transformer radiator type: Goose-neck type, PC type, PG type
3. Oil-immersed Transformer radiator fin width: 535mm, 520mm, 480mm, 381mm, 310mm
4. Oil-immersed Transformer radiator center distance: 500-5000mm
5. Oil-immersed Transformer radiator fin distance: 40mm, 45mm, 50mm
6. Oil-immersed Transformer radiator Surface treatment: Primer, or Normal paint, or Hot Zinc-galvanized, or Spray
7. Oil-immersed Transformer radiator Paint thickness: 80um—240um

 

According to the installation, the radiator has two different ways: Stationary and detachable.
PC type: detachable, the flange is fixed outside of the transformer oil tank
PG type: stationary, without flange. It’s directly welded in the transformer oil tank

 

According to the structure, the radiator can be: Conventional type or goose-neck type.
Conventional type: Radiator center distance is equal, model number annotation for PC 3600-36/520 Gooseneck type: Radiator center distance is not the same, model number annotation for PC 3200 (2800) –30(3) /520

 

How to select a suitable radiator and how to calculate:
1. Experience method: At present the main way is provided in accordance with professional manufacturing units “radiator parameters for reference and combined with practical work experience to choose.
2. Calculation method: According to the calculation data of Transformer fuel tank total effective radiating area S: S=0.75S1+k4S2+nSz (or Sf)
Among them: S1—Transformer oil tank cover area ㎡.
S2—The Transformer oil tank wall area ㎡.
Sz—Each group of natural cooling effective heat dissipation of radiator area ㎡.
Sf—Each group of air cooling effective heat dissipation of radiator area ㎡.
Sz and Sf can be directly referred to the selection of radiator technology parameters sheet.
N—Radiator group number.
K4—Radiator heat sink arrangement of way coefficient. For single layout, the coefficient is 0.9; For Double-sided, the coefficient is 0.85; For Three surface arrangement, the coefficient is 0.8.

 

Equipped with DBF air cooling device condition:
1. The radiator adopts self cooling.
2. Transformer capacity is more than or equal to 10000KVA, and equipped with air cooling device.
3. When other conditions is required, and equipped with air cooling device.

 

Attention:
1. The Radiator Standard is conform to the standard JB/T 5347 and relevant technical requirements.
2. For clean inspection: use pressure not less 35KV of transformer oil rinse, testing radiator cavity cleanliness.
3. Air tightness testing: Pressure is no more than 0.20 MPa, Keep the pressure at least 20min, should be without any leakage or any permanent deformation.
4. Vacuum testing: with Vacuum 133 pa, Keep 10min to test, and should be without any permanent deformation.
5. When the transformer is filled with oil: Open the vent plug on the upper part of radiator. Once the transformer oil Overflows, tighten the vent plug and wipe off the oil overflowing from the transformer.
6. During on-site installation, the radiator shall be installed in time after its flange is opened.
The exposure time shall not exceed 1 hour.

7. Service environment: the service environment of the radiator is the same as that of host matching transformer.
